Parable of treasure   Matthew 13:44  『 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hidden in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. 』 Regarding this statement, people may misunderstand that they can buy heaven by selling everything they have. Peter's Confession   In Mark 8:27-29, when Jesus asked his disciples,  “ Who do people think I am? ”  they answered,  “ Some say he is Elijah, and others say he is one of the prophets. ”  When Jesus asked his disciples,  “ Who do you think I am? ”  Peter confessed to Jesus,  “ You are the Son of God. ”  However, Jesus is saying that after suffering and being killed, he will be raised again on the third day.
